We begin each project by asking a set of fundamental questions:

• What are the goals and objectives for this project?
• How will the social, political, and economic context affect the achievement of these goals?
• Who needs to be part of the consultative process and what roles should they play?
• What outcomes are required from the planning process?
• How will these outcomes be used to advance the project?

Our Methodology

1.    Understand the situation: goals, aspirations, purpose, background

2.    Undertake evidence-based research: collect and analyse data, conduct comparisons and case studies

3.    Engage the client, and public where appropriate, in the process

4.    Provide solutions at the conceptual, big picture level

5.    Confirm understanding and buy-in from the client

6.    Work out the detail
